1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the ImgOpt application ("App", "ImgOpt"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the application. These Terms are an agreement between you and the developer of ImgOpt, not with Apple Inc. However, Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

2. Standard Apple EULA

In addition to these custom terms, your use of the App is governed by the standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"). In the event of a conflict, the Standard EULA and any non-waivable applicable law will prevail to the extent required.

3. Description of Service

ImgOpt is an on-device image and PDF optimizer for macOS. It compresses, converts, resizes, and otherwise processes the files you provide, entirely on your own Mac. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to process any files you drop into the App, and for keeping appropriate backups of important originals.

4. One-Time Purchase and Premium Features

ImgOpt is free to use and offers additional premium features via a one-time, non-consumable In-App Purchase ("Premium"). Purchasing Premium unlocks capabilities including, but not limited to:

• Image Watermarking: Composite your logo onto images during optimization.
• Export PDF Pages as Images: Render page ranges to JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WebP or AVIF.
• Combine Images into a PDF: Merge multiple images into a single optimized PDF.
• Custom Filename Templates: Build output names with tokens and sequences.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. This is a one-time payment, not a subscription. Premium unlocks on every Mac signed in to the same Apple ID, supports Family Sharing, and includes future Premium features. Purchases can be restored at any time on any eligible Mac.

5. Your Files and Data

ImgOpt processes all files locally on your device and does not transmit your files or any personal data to the developer or any third party. You retain full ownership of and responsibility for your files. We strongly recommend keeping backups of important originals before performing batch operations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer of ImgOpt be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or files, business interruption, or loss of privacy arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the App). The App is provided "as is" and you use it at your own risk.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate at the top of this page the date these Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the App after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
