Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. This Privacy Policy details how NuSSH ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our application on your device.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

NuSSH is designed as a standalone utility focused on security and privacy. We have no interest in tracking your activity or collecting your data.

• No Tracking: We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising SDKs.
• No Server Logs & Credentials: NuSSH does not collect or store your SSH private keys or passwords on our servers. All sensitive credentials are stored locally on your device or within your personal iCloud account. Your device makes direct connections to the servers you configure.
• No Remote Telemetry: We do not collect behavioral data or product telemetry on our own infrastructure.

2. App Permissions & Local Access

• Biometric Data (Touch ID / Face ID): NuSSH uses Touch ID / Face ID for local authentication. We do not have access to your biometric data; all authentication is handled securely by the macOS / iOS system.
• File Access: NuSSH only accesses files and directories explicitly selected by the user (or the default Downloads folder) for the purpose of SFTP transfers (upload/download).

3. Data Stored Locally and iCloud Sync

All your sensitive information—including server addresses, usernames, passwords, SSH private keys, and application settings—remains strictly within your control.

• By default, data is securely stored locally on your device within the keychain and secure App Sandbox.
• If you choose to enable iCloud Sync, data synchronization is provided via Apple iCloud. Your connection profiles are encrypted and stored in your own iCloud container, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your Apple ID, your iCloud storage, or the data synchronized through it.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Because your data is stored on your device and your personal iCloud account, you dictate the data retention. Users can delete their connection profiles and stored credentials at any time within the app settings. You can also permanently delete all your data by deleting the application and any associated iCloud data through your device settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13, because we do not collect personal information at all.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
